Hello :)

I am new at this, so please forgive me if I mess up.

 I will start with bits about me.  I have had animals most of my life.  The bulk of my experience is with dogs and birds, but the occasional lizard, mouse, hamster, rat, fish, ferret, and even cat have come into my life.

My first job ever was at a local Aviary.  My parents wouldn't allow me to have birds so they figured the next best thing was to have me volunteer at the aviary.  hahaha back fired.  I vollied from 14 years old and was hired full time at 16 years old.  It started with pigeons .... escalating to exotic parrots, pheasants, quail, doves, and aracaris.

Well ... a few petstore jobs later I landed a job with a local animal control facility.  I was hired as an ACO (that's Animal Control Officer for those of you not in the loop :P).  WOW!!  It totally opened my eyes to the world and what I DIDN"T know!!  I stayed with that agency for 10 years, unemployed for 8 months, and now working for another local municipality for the past 18months.

I am a single mother with two children, blond and blue eyes (don't ask, I know they're mine unless they were switched at the hospital LOL). 

Enough about me, I hope to learn how to do this and I am excited to get started :)
